We came here for our anniversary and had an excellent experience. The food, atmosphere, and service were all great. We were informed that the meals were family style and the waitress recommended sharing dishes, which we agreed with and didn't regret. We started with a cocktail (my wife ordered the ghost rider and I the rawhide), then we shared the warm olives and bone marrow. For the main course, we got the marbled rib eye, the endive beet salad, baked potatoes, and brussel sprouts. We topped everything off with a huckleberry shake for dessert. Very stuffed but happy by the end.

Excellent steaks, excellent food all around. You can tell they use fresh premium ingredients from the small dishes to the large steaks. The service was just as excellent as the food. This is on the higher end of a pricey steak houses in Bend, Oregon but we'll worth it. Especially if you are one that rarely eats at places such as this. I highly recommend eating at this establishment. Note: the only reason for the atmosphere 4 star is that it is a little loud in the restaurant making it a little hard to have a decent conversation. However they do have seating outside. Furthermore, you will definitely want to make reservations.

It’s rare that you go to a restaurant with this level quality food and customer service matches or beats it. The food is amazing and unique but the customer service and experience was even better. Great job to everyone involved. The steak was awesome. The mushroom and bread was perfect balance. The bone morrow was unique but I can’t tell if I liked it or not. It’s a very fatty and tastes like liver almost.

Just visited the Rancher Butcher Cafe in Bend, Oregon, and let me tell you, it's a real gem. The customer service is phenomenal, they've got the balance just right, you know? Attentive but not intrusive. Felt very taken care of. And the steak? Top-notch. Seriously, it's some of the best I've ever had. The vibe of the place is contagiously upbeat as well. It’s just got a great energy that complements the overall experience perfectly. All in all, a fantastic spot with an inviting atmosphere, excellent service, and to-die-for steak. Can't wait to go back! Highly recommended! :-)

Our steaks were cooked to perfection! If not the BEST, it’s definitely in the top 3 of best steaks I’ve ever had. The service was outstanding (I forgot my reading glasses and the waiter provided me with a box full of glasses to select from so I didn’t have to go in my car to get it). Highly recommended - make reservations in advance because they were very busy even on a Tuesday!

This is a must try for any meat eater. Vegetarians please stay away. The service, food quality, quantity and atmosphere were all top notch. Pricing was very fair as well. We had cowboy steak, corn, steak tartar, bone marrow, liver mouse. All were sensational. We will make this a mandatory stop every time we visit Bend.

I had one of the MOST incredible dining experience at Rancher Butcher Chef. What I ordered: Grilled bone marrow Heirloom tomato salad Spaghetti western carbonara Tempranillo 🍷 As I sat at the chef’s bar, and everywhere I looked, people were just so happy. Best customer service experience of my life! The waitstaff even stopped by to share their excitement for what I ordered. You can’t help but be in the BEST mood there!

We probably had one of the most memorable foodie experiences at RBC thanks to the wonderful staff and amazing food. The interior of RBC is beautiful, when you first walk in you're greeted with a cool meat ridge that displays their dry age steaks. This place was definitely designed for an intimate date spot. We came to splurge and celebrate our recent nuptials. I'm kind of bummed they ran out of both their 28 day and 45 day aged steaks, we were informed that those go very quickly on the weekend. So pro tip, if you want the dry aged stuff, try to book your dinner reservations early. Ours was at 8:45 pm and we still missed out. The steaks we got were still pretty amazing, we got their 16oz ribeye and 10oz hanger steak. I was actually pretty surprised how much I liked the hanger steak more than my usual go to, which is the ribeye. Both were cooked perfectly. The staff even offered to cook a portion of the ribeye that my husband and I were splitting bc I told them it was a little too rare for me (my husband loves his medium rare, I like a good medium). Other dishes we tried was spaghetti western carbonara--hands down probably the best squid ink pasta I've ever had. The potatoes brava, which were a little too salty for me. Then we finished strong with their chocolate molten cake. I know, it's a super simple desert, but again, probably the best I've ever had. What made this experience so memorable was the staff. We were so taken cared of from the moment we walked in, up until we walked out. Every server we had was so nice and attentive. They made us feel celebrated for our recent marriage, it was great and made for a special night. This place is a 10/10 all around and I definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great experience.
